The project was carried out in order to monitor the production process at the station level and perform performance analyses.
Tracking and efficiency challenges
Each product needed to be tracked on a station basis on the assembly lines, and it was required to record which product passed through which stations.

Real-time monitoring and analytics
Traceability on assembly lines was achieved by tracking the product serial number on a station basis. Cycle time analyses helped identify station and product-based bottlenecks; box plot charts visualized station-based duration distributions, providing foresight in line balancing. With SAP integration, master data was retrieved via SAP and integrated into the system.
